Default TIMING BELT... ASAP HELP... just look please...56K warning big pics

well here it is... first off i apolagize for the large pictures BUT its the only way to get a decent look at the belt.

curious to see what you guys think its condition is in.........
my 99 civic ex just passed 92K miles.....
from the look at it in the book thier wear pictures are horible.

since im not sure HOW GOOD a new belt is im curious.....
or if anyone works at a honda dealership and can run the vin number for me to see what kinda maintance was done i would EXTREMLY APRICIATE YOUR HELP!!!!!

from me looken at it it looks good... but they again ive never seen a brand new belt.... i was gonna change the belt as soon as money allowed me to buy the parts.... BUT after pullen my valve cover and looken at it quickly... im not sure if it needs it or not.

dude how often is the oil changed in your car? looks a little darken than it should be almost like some oil is burnt onto your valvetrain... but the belt looks like its still in pretty good condition, i would still recommend changing it

tried spraying it with some caliper paint i had left over... BUT i thought it would spray smooth but to late... guess ill just paint my original one smooth like i wanted!

here was my first attempt of painting it BUT it had some preaty bad imperfections in it that i had to sand out alot of bad spots! tho my factory one is in good condition so it wont take much to slick it up real nice!

wow, that oil is horrid. Glad I use synthetic. Change the T belt, and water pump. Better safe than sorry. If that breaks while youre driving......youre going to need a new head.

looks are deceiving.

replace it when you get to 105k, i changed mine at 117k and it still looked decent but just change it for safety precaution

By the looks of your valve cover, I don't think the previous owner did too much maintenance. Penzoil in the old days would collect like that on V8s.

I would replace the timing for cheap insurance.
