I think they look wicked
they are great quality and 100% waterproof

 

Any idea how much a bulb cost once one of them eventually blows?

 

they're made to last forever as long as you don't abuse them, but if it happens I think it's in the ballpark of $150-ish for a set of bulbs.

 

I have the 8500 K conversion, and I have the halo's that had the label that said no H.I.D.s, but I don't listen well, and I havent had a problem. I think the thing is, the bulbs are real hot, and the projector lense acts as a magnifying glass, and they dont want this to happen:

Go into the sun, find an ant, hold a magnifying glass over him...

I guess that can get fairly hot. Haha. Works fine for me. I will post a picture in 5 minutes, Im gona go take one.

 

There she is...8500K H.I.D.. It's hard to get a good picture of how blue they actually look, but that is the clearest one that I have taken.

i had a set for my passat but sold them and the projectors b4 i had a chance to install then casue i ran out of $$

Well, hello boys. I'm a new poster. Posted a while back, cause i was lookin for a civic previously, and, am in the market again. This time, i'm lookin at the 06 sedan. My question, since, i can't find anything online for it, is, does the 06 have the HID's as an option? If not, does anyone know if HID's would void factory warranty? I'm not sure if this is in the right topic or not, if not, let me know where the mods have moved it. Thanks in advance.

i believe that lighting, brakes, tires, generally clutches and some other things are not covered by manufacturers warranty so i doubt that you would run into any issues but a lot of car dealers will look for any little thing to void the warranty so they dont have to do free work to the car.
