I've got 13 in the back and 50 in the front, technically illegal but I've never had a problem. I will if I get pulled over because I've got a DX so the pass. window stays up! My brother had this POS '81 Tercel for a few months and had some limo put in. I think the tint film cost more than the car, but he was ALWAYS getting pulled over and the cop would say it was for the tint but would never give him a ticket. He says he'd get nabbed because the cops thought he was Brown. Somos gringos...

The tint makes the Civics look soooooo much better, especially on the models with the black mirrors/handles/trim. It has helped in the heat somewhat, but my interior is black and it's just murder in there sometimes and I'm always forgetting to crack the windows/put up the shade. My a/c is pretty useless.

Thanks all....
The tint does also help with the pickup truck- tailgating -***** who try to drive up my ****. I'm not blinded anymore
Side note...the guys who did the install cross threaded one of the support arm glass support bolts. Damn..now I have to go hunt one down. Why is it if you don't do it yourself, it doesn't get done right? I don't have the time to learn every trade in the world...let alone get good at them...Grrrrr[:@]

Grr...don't you hate that? If you're ever in the Orange County, CA area I can point you to a great shop. They did a great job on my tint, even pulled out the center brake light to put some film between it and the glass (prolly illegal but it looks so much better).

My biggest complaint is the distortion the defroster lines make at night. It varies with the conditions, but some times I'm having to rely heavily on my right mirror.

That would be cool if you posted all the business information about the shop. I've been looking into shops around OC.
