Default Headlamp bulb ?

So do bulbs like these really make much of a difference, look any more like HID without the kit and what not, or are you just better off to run some silverstars or otherwise standard bulbs?

I see them selling everywhere, I want to know what they look like, or if anyone has tried them. I thought xenon bulbs had to have the ballasts, confused here.

Whats the skibby.

These aren't HID replacement bulbs. They're H4 which most likely fit in your car since they fit in my 95 ex. You just open your hood, pull the rubber thing off, WEAR GLOVES OR ELSE YOU'LL BREAK THE BULB w/ your skin oils, pull the wire harness out, unscrew the screws, pull the old bulb out, and then do the reverse but put your new bulbs in.

I did it in my car w/ the ones oznium had and there's a great difference. It's not true HID but it's certainly a cleaner and brighter light.

I tried the "blue" bulbs way back when in my streetbike, they worked ok but the constant impacts of trick riding took their tole on them, and they burned out quickly.

I am hoping someone here uses this type of bulb over a silverstar or other store brand, and has comments on their quality.
