Help with front lip
Say I want a Mugen 99-00 front lip on my '04 Civic EX Coupe.
It'll work, right? http://www.civicforums.com/forums/me...-johnbt23.html This guy says he has one on his.
You don't buy them in certain colors do you? You have to get them painted or paint them yourself?
I'm completely new to this.. and you can probably tell. Thanks for the help, guys.
Here's one I found on eBay. It says JDM.. so I'm assuming it's a good one?

i dunno if it will fit or not on an 04 ive never seen anyone have one but i dont think it will quite flow the same with the lines. Also, just because it says JDM it doesnt mean anything and its just a knockoff lip anyways. Get a urethane lip instead of ABS it will bend and not break if you happen to hit something.

I dont think mugen ever made a lip for your year civic, the hatch yes.
But getting back to the point, thouse are knockoff's.
Trying to get some nice lips for your civic is going to be hard, because aftermarket company's never gave it that much attention.

get a lip made for your car, it will flow better.
also, on ebay, JDM does not mean JDM. sellers put JDM on everything. they are not Japanese products. also the lip you posted is not a mugen from the pictures its a type r lip. if you like the lip pictured in that ebay posting search up the type r lip. for lips they come ready to be painted. so you will need to paint them yourself.

the ebay lips are fine to use. he's just saying they aren't really "JDM". They work fine, but whenever you read something on eBay that says "JDM," if it's not an OEM Honda (or whatever car make you're looking for) then it's not really JDM.
JDM just means that the product is an OEM piece only sold by Honda in Japan.
