Just remember one thing the higher the K the lower the output..... as well as the higher the K the more police attention you may get. Make damn sure that if you are getting H4 bulbs to get ones with shields and aim your lights properly..... otherwise you may/can be tossing light upwards into others eyes and this is bad and the boys in blue don't like it either.

Me personally I wouldn't go highter than 6000K, it gives a good blue tinge but is still really bright...... I've got 5000K in my other car and it's a no frills PURE white, output is amazing......

The best way the find out your bulb size is to take your bulb and read it. So, look at your headlights and figure out which bulb is the one you want to be HID. Pull it out, read it. Yay, now you have your bulb size. Aftermarket headlights will have different bulbs than stock lights. 6000K gives the the best vision, which is why you're buying HIDs, right!?!? 8000K will be super duper blue, but it won't be as good night time vision as 6000K. My photo album has some pictures of my 6000K. Because I have aftermarket projector headlights with a lense that has a slight yellow tinit to it, the bulbs look a little more yellow than normal.

You have two possibilities.

1. Your car can have one bulb for both hi and low beams.
OR
2. Your car can have two separate bulbs one for hi and one for low.

If your car has choice #1 you need hi/low HIDs.

If your car has choice #2 you need regular HIDs.

For example: my car has separate bulbs for hi and low bulbs. So, I have two different bulbs. So, I'd need to get two HID kits if I wanted both hi and low beams to be HID. Since I don't want to spend that much, I made only my low beams HID.
