I never understood retrofitting HIDs. That is soooo much work. It's a ton easier to get aftermarker projectors and then the HID kit.

retro fiting some OEM HIDs will be THE BEST..... BUT will cost ALOT more money if ya buy some good OEM HIDs for retrofiting......
but if ya got pleanty of cash and want it done truely to the best..... go for a true retrofit

ok, I was considering retrofitting some Acura TSX projectors with Philips HIDs into some anzo's projectors, would that be a good fit? and also I keep hearing about the hid bulbs being really, so could they possibly melt the aftermarket projector headunits?
HID's run cooler than halogen bulbs so I wouldn't worry about melting them. The TSX projectors shouldfitfine in there. The only thing you might have to do is make some custom brackets in order to use the stock mounting screws on your anzo's.
