Yeah I wonder why Leenix was run off the forum... how stupid is that? My buddy bought a kit for his Tacoma and it is great! 6k HIDs for 125? Forget about it!
I PM'ed Remmy about it, and he said he didn't know what happened to them, aparently they weren't banned or anything.

I never understood retrofitting HIDs. That is soooo much work. It's a ton easier to get aftermarker projectors and then the HID kit.
Retrofitting gives you OEM hid's which are better then getting aftermarket HID's and housings, the OEM HID's have better light output and lighting pattern

dito.....
retro fiting some OEM HIDs will be THE BEST..... BUT will cost ALOT more money if ya buy some good OEM HIDs for retrofiting......

but if ya got pleanty of cash and want it done truely to the best..... go for a true retrofit

When i get a Teg i plan on retrofitting HID's into it. just too much of a pain doing it on a non projector housing IMO.

ok, I was considering retrofitting some Acura TSX projectors with Philips HIDs into some anzo's projectors, would that be a good fit? and also I keep hearing about the hid bulbs being really, so could they possibly melt the aftermarket projector headunits?

HID's run cooler than halogen bulbs so I wouldn't worry about melting them. The TSX projectors shouldfitfine in there. The only thing you might have to do is make some custom brackets in order to use the stock mounting screws on your anzo's.
