Alright I am installign these in my moms 01 Civic. The kit came with 2 male connectors to plug into the stock harness, but the stock harness has 3 female connectors....which ones do I put where?

 

go buy a 12volt light tester and click the aligator clip onto a bear metal, grounded source and just probe the wires with the testers SPIKE tip. very simple... one is ground... one is LOW BEAMS.... and one is HIGH BEAMS....

problem with poping in the HIDs is if they dont have HIGH/ and LOW beam or BI-xenon or how ever its spelled. LMFAO so if they only have 2 wires and only 1 bulb then you loose your HIGH BEAMS.... but not that youll realy need them BUT having them helps ALOT... cause if one bulb goes out you can at least switch over to highbeams...
cause the CHEAP HID kits do tend to burn out quite often.. ya get what you pay for

 

Yeah I just installed some on my 99. On the 99 when you look at the plug looking at the front of the car, the left female Hi beam +, the top is Lo Beam + and the right is -. If the bulb starts flashing like a strobe light then you've got them on the wrong way.

 

I got it figured out.. thx .. BTW your not sopposed to use light tester on new cars, well it wouldn't matter here but just heads up if you ever install an alarm.
