honda civic hx body help

Unhappy honda civic hx body help

hey people. he res my question. i bought a honda civic hx from an auction and it was damaged from the back. i went to pick and pull and bought a honda civic ex trunk lid. when i came home it did not fit. so is it my trunk holder or is it the lid being different? ps it a 1996 honda same with trunk

what year is the civic? they may have given you the incorrect trunk lid that's my first guess i'ma state the obvious before anyone else can.

one year older than mine haha. that's weird it doesn't fit. maybe it's the trunk from like a 99 ex or something? idk but it should be no different but then again, honda does some weird out of the blue stuff that i just don't understand so it's a possibility. someone will prob correct my statement soon. what exactly is pick and pull? i guess it's like pull-a-part junkyard or is it like certi fit? wich is actually SORTA fit wich might be your prob then.

yeah pull a part or whatever..in my city its pick and pull but it kinda fits but like 1 inch longer then mine..ugh my civic even has a unique oxygen sensor which costs like 298 at stores...hard to find parts for it..

bro don't sweat it i know your pain. parts for the hx are a pain in the ay at just finding, and then when you do find them it's so effing expensive. i thought it was just my badluck how the hx requires so much more diff stuff than a normal civic. do you have an auto or a manny?

ahhh lucky i have an automatic and the transmissions given me more problems than anything ever.
