how can i clean out the inside of my headlights/

Default how can i clean out the inside of my headlights/

im trying to make my headlights look better. theyre all yellowed out and i dont have the money to buy halos yet....how can i clean out the inside? i took the lamps off but i couldlnt figure out how to open it without breaking it...

well is it the inside or out that is yellowed? my guess would be the outside since that is the part that is exposed the most. just get some gritty toothpaste and rub it on real good then wipe it off

My advise then would be to just buy some new headlights, they shouldn't be that much, otherwise you would have to heat up the headlight somehow to seperate it.

Did you try cleaning the outside first? you have to scrape it hard. If not your gonna have to use your oven and pry the glue open.

You should be able to heat themup in the oven (not too hot!) and pry them apart, but I agree with everyone else, it's probaably on the outside. Try some polish or toothpaste (gritty kind) as suggested, I think you'll be surprised.
