looks much better, i don't have those strippings and no problem of the door getting dings in that area, just be careful when you open the door since the door guard is not there anymore. but it looks better

You're lucky. On my old '94, that stripping was held on by some kind of glue... took me forever to get it off.

As far as the headlight install, it's a fairly easy install that anyone could do by themselves with a little instruction. The fog lights would be a little more involved, but with a little wiring knowledge, they won't be too hard to install yourself. Or you could just meet up with the other NorCal members and have them help

try to show up for the meet. its about 30-40 minutes away from San Francisco. just wondering are you the guy with the civic that looks like my civic stock?

swapping out headlight involves removing the bumper which are held on my screws and bolts and then removing maybe 4 bolts that holds on the headlight. for the foglights its a bit more challenging. It involves cutting the stock bumper with a dremel and wiring the fogs up to a switch. i'm assuming you have a 2000 DX coupe? and are you getting OEM style foglights? and some black housing headlights?

yep. thats me. i do have a 2000 DX coupe.
and yes, i am getting OEM style fogs.
I'd probably end up just taking my car to a shop to install the fogs... but i'm sure i could figure out how to install the headlights. if not, i'd probably just take them to the shop too.
