I'm looking for a quality tint job done on my windows but if I can do it myself and have it look just as good then I will. Is this possible?

How do I do this? Is there a place on the web I can go to that has a step by step?

 

Also, does anyone know what the window tint law is in Georgia and Tennessee?

 

i dont know the law BUT i do know that tinting is a hard skill to learn, i would probably just take it to the shop for that man, it doesnt cost that much and it will look better

 

^^ rgr that, plus they use a lot better quality tint then what you buy at the store. It something aint right they will fix it for free!

 

I got my back window and 2 little quarter windows done on my DX about a week ago at an auto glass place. I can say its a way better job then you could do yourself. PLUS lots of the DIYS stuff looks purple when done and not black.

The job was a cool $250 bones. CAD

 

Totally agree... get it professionally done and look to spend from 150-250 on it... doing it yourself means you're hoping to have ugly purple bubbles all over your windows... Professional install is always cheaper than upkeep due to lack of experience. My guess is 45-50% in Georgia.. I used to work in Georgia and North Carolina but those cops dont really get that ****.

 

YOu should be able to find places that'll do it on a coupe for about $150, with a lifetime garauntee. That's the going rate around here anyways

 

Up here in upstate NY they wanted to charge me $260 +tax for 35% on 5 windows (front 2, back 2 coupe windows, and back window)... I told them they were crazy and had a buddy who lives down near the city set me up at his guys place for $185 +tax -- and no I am not going down there just to get the windows tinted.. it's on the way for my vacation

 

to do all five windows in saint john its only 200 plus tax cad that is a pretty sweet deal

 

I love Oregon.. no sales tax!!! It makes buying big stuff so painless... except that there really arent many people in the northwest to show off too... But still, it's pretty sweet
