how do u get the cd player bezel out

how do u get the whole plastic piece around the cd player with the vents and everything out on a 97 civic without breaking it? i cant find out to do it

dont know if its the same but on my 05 civic ex, i had to start from the shift **** base and start removing that piece by piece working my way towards the cup holder, then there were two nuts above the cup holders that were in the stereo base. after removing them you basically pry the whole stereo "plastic piece" off.

if that isnt suffiecent, or you cant find the right info go to crutchfield.com, talk to a rep and ask them to make you a cart with a guide on how to take it out. it'll cost 5 bucks and they can email it to you.
