if it was me, yeah. Everything i wire, i used a test light to check which fuse is getting power, then run a wire to one of the fuse terminals and plug the fuse in there to get power. Its convenient and close, and its pretty safe since you can set it up to be fused right there at the place where the wire starts.

are you kidding me? I've wired two sets of aftermarket gaugues, one set of custom LED strip gauges, 6 different gagues (in pillar pods), a shift light, two sets of under-dash cathodes, custom LED's behind pillar gauges, custom LEDs by the shift handle, and 3 sets of underbody LED lights, ALL to the fusebox, and have never had any problems.
