Default I hate overpriceing

Okay so one of my friends tried to jump my hood when i wasn't looking and didnt make it.
My fender is ruined beyond repair. So I figured I'd go get some estimates on getting it fixed by someone else. They tried to tell me $1047 to replace a fender!?!?!?!?![:@]which is rediculous. I just need to find one myself and paint it and do it myself I guess. But like wow, $1047?

Pick up a fender at the scrap yard for like $100 and get it painted for about $100 and put it on yourself for free. About $200-$300 your looking at.

there is a company on ebay that sells stock fenders for about 70 bucks. i forget his name but Remmy bought his fenders from this company. 1047 bucks is way too much money to spend on a fender and paint.

This kid ed did it, he just ran and jumped and his knee went right into the side. I don't understand how his knee cap isn't shattered, those fenders are tough andhe ruined itreally bad. He's guna pay for it. But hes a good enough one of my friends for me to nop make him pay the 1047. I looked all around at the junkyards near me i got nothing. I think im going for the ebay , get it painted then put it on myself.
