I installed my led tail lights. i had to hard wire because the connection did not fit. the 3 colors matched and the lights worked except when i apply my brakes the 3rd brake light lights up. help!

Probably instead of color matching the wires (since you shouldnt trust an aftermarket item to be correct) you should test each wire coming off the car so you know which is brake/tail/turn then once you know...apply them to the new harness.
