hey guys. im thinking about painting some stuff under the hood.
spark plug cover
ignition pack covers
battery tie down
hood pole
brake/clutch caps
fuse cover. some other stuff i can't remember
anyway my car is SSM i was thinking either to do it a silver or a gunmetal. any thoughts or suggestions? colors?
i want to do this to keep the stuff clean under the hood. and to make it nice looking at the same time. whatever color i get i will also get an engine dress kit - closest match i can find. anyway tell me what you think. thanx

 

i would go with gun metal..im doing mine black to match everything else, and FYI theres a writeup on painting your valve cover in the DIY section incase you need help

 

i think it will look nice if you prepare the parts and do a good job of painting them to match. but don't go crazy because then it will look ricey

 

silver<gunmetal<black, but thats just my 2 cents.

i used some Rustoleum Sparkle black to paint my spark plug cover and fuse cover... i haven't gotten around to painting the rest of the bay stuff yet... i think it looks really good.

 

dude i did the same thing but with engine paint and it was blue. make sure you give it a good clear coat i promise it ill look gooooooood.

 

yea ive decided with silver. it will probably happen in the next few weeks when i actually have free time.[>:]
