dang, you guys went through all that and didnt mention to unplug the battery so ya wouldnt get shocked, lol, just my 2 cents since everyone covered it all. good luck ;P

there not really enough juice there to zap you hard. Just dont touch a posi and neg at the same time.

HAHA.. you can also plug into the back of the cig. lighter since i take it you dont like the whole plug thing stickin out. if you wanna go to your box ,ur probably gonna need more wire

Yes, use 18 guage speaker wire, youll be fine.
