Yeah. It lights up the back alot. Also by putting them under the seats you light up the whole floorboard. You legs dont get in the way. Here is a picture I just took.

Sorry for them being so blurry. It was dark and I couldn't get my camera to do any better.

Oh yeah! That looks really really good! So was the write up posted somewhere already? Was it the tubes or the single leds you used for this? What was the total time taken on this? I cant wait to see the DIY! You're awesome, man!

No I am writing the DIY right now. I started taking pics and installign everything Friday. Then spent last night and tonight writing the DIY. It has just taken forever typing in all the links to the pics. Plus making sure I didn't forget anything. It took me about five hours to do everything I did. Keep in mind that I alsao installed two leds in the vents, the four neons under the seats, and totally rewired my shift ****. So for just the Neons, I would say hour and a half tops. Oh, I used the noeons under the seats, but the leds will look almost the same.

As for longevity the neon will be just as good as LED? I dont know the difference between the two so if you did neon I'll probably do neon to keep the install less difficult!

Leds will last forever. You can beat the hell out of them, and they still keep shining. Neons are housed in a glass tube so you have to be alittle more carful with them, but I have had them last for years. Granted I did have the guys that installed my window tint break one of them, but its easy to fix. If I were you I would go with the neons, just because they spread the light out better, but if you are racing your car and being rough with it, go with the leds. I take my car offroad a bit and even on the bumpy dirt roads I have not had a problem with my neons. So its up to you. But my vote is for the noens.

Yeah I am not rough with the car.. and no one sits in the back seats because we dont have a kid yet... and we'd take a bigger car if friends were riding... I will never put neons below my car's body but I got no problem with the inside.. my wife's audi has came standard with those interior accent lights and I want the same thing for the little civvy

So here's my problem... I dont know ANYTHING about how to do electronics... I am going to buy the materials and then have someone do it for me... thats why I want to have a quick finalized product that someone can hook up and keep it from getting too pricey.
dude! i dont know anything either. but I did the fog lights myself (with Mill's help!) I wired them, ground the black wire, and found a hole to let the wire goes through...I did not know sh*ts, I learn by doing stuffs!

I think you do too. give it a shot bro!
