Interior Lighting question

To add to this would anyone know at the top of their head what wire to splice into if i want the lights to turn on when i turn my headlights on? (99 si) I still have an on/off switch and its fused

i would just splice it into the 12V wire for the parking lights, just like you would do for halos.

I'm not sure where the wire is inside of the car, but i'd imagine that if you really want to go looking for it, it will be a wire that goes to the switch on the steering column. It'd probably be easier just wiring it to the parking light though than trying to find out which wire it is inside of the car.

Yeah i didnt want to have a wire running all the way to the front. Im gonna try wiring it directly to the fuse box. Hopefully it works using the headlight fuse

yea that would probably work
just make sure you do it to the low beam fuse

i did it and it worked like a charm, exept i didnt like having to turn on my headlights to see the leds, so i wired it to the interior cluster lights fuse
