interior weight?

i have a 91 CRX would it really be that benificial to "gut out" the car....it really doesnt seem like it would be to me.

what is the car going to be used for? if its for daily i would say no, theres going to be alot of road noise.

IMO only way gutting the car will benfit you is if its STRICKLY A RACE CAR!!!!!!


for a daily drive its stupid and ugly and loud.... and also depritiates the valve of the car if you ever think ya might sell it!

i have done it to a 90 honda civic si and they are right! it is louder and doesnt look that bad a little getto. but i did save a lot of weight to the car. it very lite. you can tell when driving.

Rule of thumb:
For every 100lbs of excess weight removed from the chassis, that car's 1/4 mile time will decrease by 0.1 seconds.

Personally, the "extra" seats are the only things I'd pull on a DD (and that's still only around 60lbs that you save).
