i have a 97 Honda Civic and since i'm still in high school...i haven't been able to make much money to put into the car. Well i've been saving up my money a little here and a little there.....and right now i have about $1500. Since the car had scratches and dents in/on it when i got it, i wanted to work on the exterior. Well i am planning on getting a R34 front bumper.....what my questions are....

1) what should i get for side skirts and a rear bumper? (was thinking a Buddy Club rear bumper)
2) when i do get the kit, i'm stuck on what color should the car be (it's black now)....and i was thinking of keeping it black but i wanted a CF hood and didn't think it would look good.

if you can give some suggestion/inputs, that would be awesome. thanks.

 

personally id make it fast before anything else. To each his own i suppose.

 

I know where he's coming from pcupo, the paint on my front bumper has spiderwebs, a couple deep knicks and it you look close it's a darker silver than the rest of the car; then again it could just be the angle you look at it from. That I'm just not generally thrilled with it, so it's on my list.

My suggestion; and I'm fan of the buddy club2 kit, thats on my list after the engine gets finished, go with either the R34 side skirts or BC skirts and the BC rear bumper. As for the CF hood, I think they look real good on blue, white, silver, green is ok, and copper colored vehicles.

 

black widow sides and buddy club rear and a cf hood...i would leave your car black, and get some tint wile your at it

 

No body kit, just a Mugen Aero lip/trim kit.

 

i personally think a cf hood looks good on black cars.

 

i agree about the cf hood. also, the black rims with the chrome lip looks really good on a black car too. if you dont have rims, look into some.

 

thanks...i know i don't have any pics yet.....but i already have limo tint on all windows (except front), and i already have the rims (gun metal w/ silver lip)....but i think i'm going to stay with the black...it should be cheaper since i already have black right? and about how much would it cost for paint and cover the scratches and dents? thanks again

 

silver or chrome lip? i know you said silver but i didnt know if you meant chrome or not. seems like a nice car...post some pics though!
