hey guys i just ordered some blue LEDs for my instrument cluster and was wondering if any of you guys had done this before? and is it hard? still havent recieved them but hoping to have em within the next day or two btw how many bulbs do i need?

Well they're really concentrated at first, so you'll want to dull the top with sandpaper so the color will come out even.

i have never thought about doing that with leds. good idea.

I think the sizes for the cluster are 194s. For a true conversion to the outside lights they reccomend you use a resistor to prevent led bulb burnout.

I'm doing an LED conversion in my girlfriends car probably all blue to match the exterior, I know the climate control lights are no longer working. The button lights work fine but it bothers me that Honda is pretty infamous for that and to replace the lights you'd probably have to replace the whole climate control unti which retails for around 300.

LEDs that are made for the application or just general LEDs? Either way... good luck getting it to look right.[&:]

yea you can order a l.e.d. bulb. such as a 194. i have one and it is REALLY bright but i payed $9 shipped for it. i havent put it in yet. i ordered from www.autolumination.com very good site and sells really good stuff
