Default Lights

i am getting ready to put some lights inside my car and i was wondering if these would work: http://www.oznium.com/led-flex-strips the reason i pick these is because i have 2 younger brothers and i dont want them to break these : http://www.oznium.com/cathode-kit one last question isto get power to these bad boys do i have to wire them to thecar battery or can i tap intosome otherpower source and what would be the best spot?

The only thing you would need to hook them up is a 12V source, so anything in your car. But you got to make sure to add a switch to turn them on and off depending where you put them. I just put some neons in my trunk to accent my subs, and I just hooked them up to my dome light in my trunk, so when the trunk opens, the lights go on.

shouldnt be too hard to find, there is a buttom that is pressed in when the door is closed near the bottom of the door and when it is unpressed the lights come on, just take take up some carpet and paneling, you should be a ble to find that.

Yea i havent even thought of that, that would be pretty kool if all the neons came on right when the door opened up.

Umm I've heard of those on gauges, but not interior lights. Dunno, wait for someone else on that one.

Speaking of this, would it be possible to get interior LED's or cathodes to to the same as the dome light? As in, they turn on when open the door, but can also been turned on and off by themselves?
