ummm 33,000 kelvin is ultaviolet and i have never seen 33,000 anywhere to begin with.......and yes the projectors for the BMW's are specailly made for the HID's....now you can retro fit those projectors in your headlights and the light output would be the same but without the correct projectors the light output won't be near as bright....but don't get me wrong they are still bright as hell just scattered.....i couldn't help ya on the whole projector thing sold mine and replaced them with stock ones cause i was getting HID's and didn't want to take the chance but the stock headlights look much better than the projectos anyways

what i DO know is that TYC projectors are designed to use HID's and Halogen, and i have heard from people the HID's acan Melt cheep projectors, but i have never seen it myself and don't know anyone that this has actaully happened to, just people who know someone, who know someone. but HID's are supposed to produce less heat, so that is why i don't understand how they can melt projectors

it takes all of 20 mins to hook up...run wire from batter to relay from relay to ballast then to stock wiring harness then the bulb......if you are changing your headlights do it at the same time you have your bumper off then it won't take long to do

to get to screws on the bottom side of the headlight probably. Thats how my car was.

Also, I have a hook-up for about $265 shipped. Totally plug and play, no cut wires and nothing runs directly to the battery.
