Just look at a 00-01 VW passat in town... those have 50% tint but it will be just a little more purple than black... VW has a high quality UV protective one... anyways, that will give you an idea of what 50% looks like... I've driven all over Ohio with my 20% tint and was only pulled over for my HIDs and he didnt care about the tint... 35% would be safest... I am a little different than addict (Who by the way has some sweet ace rims now) and I prefer dark tint.

Are HIDs illeagle. IF so how are they in all the luxary cars.
they are illegal if your car wasnt equiped with them from stock.....
so basicaly they are illegal in HALOGEN headlight housings.... but if ya do a true HID conversion with some stock OEM HID housings then its all good.
