Default M3- Mirrors??

I like the look of M3 - mirrors and I was going to purchase a pair but I was wondering (before I make the payment) if it was legal to have a blue light in it... The mirrors come with blue and amber lights - and I know that amber is street legal - but could I get away with blue - or even white?

Where are you from, torched? Oregon, Washington and Idaho (pretty much states without anything cool) cops dont care, I drive with those cheesy blue tire-flys all the time at night and no one cares here and I live in downtown Portland also

I'm actually up here in Canada hahah and I mean, I've been driving with my led's on in side my car (and nothing has happened) and so I'm wondering if I should touch up the blue on the outside as well !

well just wire the amber ones up to your turn signals and the blue ones up to a switch

Good Thinking! Just one thing I have to make sure of... Does that mean that when the switch is on the blue lights take place of the amber ones when I'm using the turning signal?! If so, how can I make that work if there is only room for one set of bulbs in the mirror?

You can wire them where the constant (blue) is disconnected and the ambers only come on when you activate your blinker. I had mine wired that way. And if you leave the blues on as constant, the cops will harrass you. I got pulled over several times, they said it looked like an undercover police vehicle. I took mine off anyway when I got my lip kit and everything. Stockers looked much better with the kit on. IMHO.

Don’t get them I have them and there way cheep I had to cut the mounts that bolt them to the door because they stuck out like 1/4 “too far. I wish I would have got some JDM mirrors instead the G2 M3 mirrors are cheep they look better in the picture. The instructions are in Japanese. I had hell with these mirrors and am disappointed with the way they look in the day. I have not wired mine up yet but I am going to wire the blue lights up to a switch and the ambers to my blinkers this should be legal for you to; hell the new F series of ford trucks come from the factory with ambers in the mirrors.
