Default MAKE A DIY OF THIS PLEASE!!

Can someone make a DIY of the proper way to paint interior such as: dash, door panel, door handles, parking brake handle, center consoles, glove box, etc... any piece of interior on your car. I followed instructions on a Duplicolor spray can and the paint came off a week later and looks absolutely horrible.

I need a good DIY if someone is nice enough to do this. I would appreciate it so much.

You probably didnt put enough clearcoat. But even after you are done painting it, you cant go touching it a lot or the paint comes off.

probably one of the best ways to do would be to wet sand everything you want painted and wipe it clean with alcohol spray it all with a primer and then go over it with a top coat about three times (add coats after previous coat dries then add another) and then some clear just ot kinda protect it

car paint works the best, if you look in my gallery there are pictures in there of my interior

cleaning and sanding is the most important part of painting an item

clean, wet sand, paint and clear

Thanks for the help! I checked out your photo gallery... All the (whatever fabric that is, not sure) pieces on the door look like they have a fiberglass finsih to em... All you did was clean, wetsand, prime, 2-4 coats of paint and then clear coat???

Looks nice... never knew you could sand that fabric the door is made of.

i did all my interior with base coat clear coat automotive paint to sticks real good and it does chip but u have to abuse it to chip it and like aryiman said the most crucial part is cleaning and sanding i used scuff stuff with scotch brite pads u can buy this at any automotive paint store. i had to sand and paint each piece twice because of how much aromal all and crap i had on my dash..
