Hey Addiction what state are you in, by the way? I need to get new leds in my climate control cluster and I am not doing it alone...I'll blow something up! Anywhere close to Utah?

well im in indiana...

and well ive THOUGHT about the AC vents BUT jsut not sure.......
but IF i was to do them id use some 4inch cold cathodes. just cause leds are to directional for them to be that great in the vents.....
and id DEFINATLY have them hooked up to a switch!!! id only have them on VERY RARELY!!!! the cup holders are realy quite enough interior driving lights...

and well heres those pics ya asked for Graygod
and well remember my solder joints aint that good BUT holds firm...
but i still might redue them... i just forgot to buy some solder remover stuff.... so geting the prongs thru holes full of solder can be quite tuff!

do u solder the LED's or just put em in. Cuz if u just put em in , im gunna go to radio shack and buy some LED's. How do u take off the center console though? ( flathead?)

leds and resistors all solder in its sucky work thats for sure... i hate soldering!

but to take off the center console ting is actualy quite a bit of work... ya have to unscrew and pull the lower trim panels then take out 4bolts from behind that console and then it pulls right out with no effort...

The hardest part, really, is just getting the center console out. Soldering is a peice o' cake

Not to downplay what addiction is doing though, because he's done some pretty crazy stuff. Wait so... you're changing your center console to white LED's? Aren't they already white?
