edit: whoops... diy!
got kinda bored this evening and decided to paint the valve cover and clean the air filter. so far so good, just put the first coat of clear on it 10 minutes ago!

 

looks good, and FYI, it's DIY, not DYI

so you "do it yourself", not "do yourself it"

haha looking good im getting ready to paint mine did you use 500 degree paint and then sand the honda letters down right???

Did you just paint over the letters and then sand it down before the clear coat?

Also, I don't know if it's bad or not, but I taped over where the gromets go and where the spark plug wires connect in, you don't want paint flaking off into places you don't want it...

looks good like that.. all red is too much . its nice to have the silver as an accent.. are u doing this NOW? and its still sunny by u?

 

Me? No, I did that last week. It's on my car, and you can't see the silver where the grommets, oil cap, or spark plug wires are anyways. Only the letters are silver.


His picture doesn't look very sunny, it looks like he's in a garage or something. Haha.
