Default My new, ghetto paint job..

Well, I decided that the smurf blue was out. It was ugly, fading, and chipping away. So, what did I do? I did what

every other broke person does. I painted the car, in my driveway.

After Sanding, and before bondo sanding.

And Testing a spot that was wetsanded, and then painted again. It still needs to be sanded after the second coat,

but you can see the difference already..

Make sure when you actually paint it you use a sealed paper to mask it. The news print will generate a retarted amount of orangepeel.

wow.... that dont look that good

heres what i sugest... get a decent air system.... and buy a little cheap paint gun... and a gallon of flat black primer.... and spray it on like that..........
ya just dont have a very good spray can finger

looks like some cans where grey.... some flat black... some black.... and some gloss black......
spray cans arent that great unless they are ALL THE SAME BRAND AND SAME CODE NUMBERS.....

now if you can blend spraypaint it would look fine.....
i painted my old 84towncar with spray paint from the front doors all the way up and over the rear trunk with brown spray paint cans...... and some of the browns werent the same color but preaty close and i blended them in so good buyer i dont think he even knew it! most people didnt believe that i just spray painted it.LOL it just wasnt as shiny cause i didnt sand it or clear coat it..... i didnt care... i only sold the car for like 900bucks........

flat colors are not good choices to paint by a spray can. every imperfiction will be noticed. but then at the same time a car is not a good thing to paint with spray cans anyway. but who knows maybe after several coats it will come out ok

Yeah go with a spray gun. If you buy the paint like that you will usually save money in the long run, not to mention that it will look a whole lot better.
