195s will fit on those with less chance of rubbing. Depending on your drop a +40 shouldn't rub but rolling your fenders would fix any issue you have. I had 195/40/17s on my old EK sedan dropped on S-Techs.

rolled fenders or not, that stupid beam that sits over the middle of the tire will get in the way, assuming you're lowered.

No. It rubs when the shock compresses. It put a slash in one of my tires on my old rims. Then I took a hammer and bent it out of the way.

Oh, why yes it absolutely does. I can't tell you how many times my car didn't rub on that stupid beam that sits over the middle of the tire.

I rubbed on the inside of the wheel wells (at full lock) and on the fender lip (if I hit a bump while turning). I never had a problem with that beam. Yes, those wheels had a +45mm offset, but the extra 5mm won't change anything as far as that beam is concerned.

I'm barely lowered at all and that beam was nothing but a pain in the *** for me.

Okay, guess I'm the first to ask... OP, what are you lowered on?

I never had any problems with the beam (the only thing that ever cut my tires was the fender lip, and that was before I rolled it), but I was on Ground Controls with KYB AGXs set almost as stiff as they'd go.
