That's amazing!!! Did you write the program or download it from somewhere (because i've never seen it before)?

Justin:

im kind of a techy so can you please post full specs of your PC setup and what kind of OS interface your using.

That looks really nice and i would like to know more about the full setup.

Did you run a serial cable up to the monitor for touch screen? Do you use a GPS module in the PC? i need the specs man lol

i'm also interested in the specs, wondering if you're thinking of upgrading the cooling if you're always upgrading parts, you need to remember that trunk is a lot hotter

k ill answer a few of the questions lol

there are 2 different car programs there the first one is called frodoplayer which i have customized to my liking and the second is called centrafuse which costs about 250 bucks lol, both of them run in windows which i run a stripped down version of windows that takes all of 5 seconds to boot up i customized that too lol i took out all the un-needed crap in xp

my setup is as follows
VIA mini-itx EX15000G 1.5 ghz mobo
1 GB DDR 2 Ram
350 GB HDD
OPUS 150w car pc power supply
USB GPS
USB web cam in grill fro recording races and auto cross
USB bluetooth

the touch screen is hooked up via usb cable not serial i can control everything even in xp all by touch screen

the GPS is all USB and i have maps of the US that it goes off of...i have a few separate programs for it that are fairly cool

as for the heat no need to upgrade what i have works better then you think as it never gets hot at all

anyone wanting to tackle this i am warning you now put lots of time planning it as its kinda a pain in the *** to do if you just piece it together as you go and if anyone wants help or has any other questions about it feel free to PM me as i am glad to help since there are all of 3 that i know of that are home built in civics around here and all were done by me hahahah
