Need advice on replacing rear door on 2002 civic
Only owned our 2002 civic 4 door sedan for four days and this morning the wife backed into it with the van smashing in the rear driver's side door. Body estimates were from $1200 to $1700 damage!
I found a used door for $450 that will have to be repainted. I also will have to change the interior trim. I have rehung auto doors before, but not on a civic. Are there any tips anyone can share?
It has electrical windows.
How do I disconnect the wiring harness between the door and the frame?
How do I remove the interior door trim?
How do I remove the exterior door trim?
Anything else I should be aware of?
