i have 2 15" tubes under my dash and hooked into a switch. it looks really nice. just mount them where u cant see them.

 

use cold cathode tubes they are smaller and are brighter and use a ton less power

they are similar to neons....but are smaller in size diameter wise, and consume less power and still are brighter than neons i used to have them in my car....it makes them easier to hide

 

and they dont get as hot as neons so you dont really have to worry about singing your leg hairs off.

 

i used 2 6' led strips from autozone for like 20 bucks, they aren't that bright but a cop can't see them from the outside so no worries for me

 

Where did you end up mounting the LEDs? I have been wanting to do something like that for my 04 civic so if you have any pics please post them!

 

i actually saw these today for the first time, i was JUST about to get it, you can hook it up to your computer and mount it around the computer for looks and it has the car adapter..it was about $16 for a 10" tube, very skinny..i was about to get it for my trunk,i might go and get it

 

i can get 2 12" tubes any color for 7 bucks :P

 

yea on Ebay they have like a pack of like 3 10 inch ones for 6 bux
