so im putting new carpet into my car. what do you guys think of maroon colored carpeting? im choosing it because i will be getting black bucket seats with red harneses and then have black floormats with Civic SI embroidered with red and white. also, im thinking of changing my gauge cluster lights to red. do ya'll think this will look good? any way somebody could maybe photochop it? thanks!

I think it will look good with everything else matching as well.

 

I'm all for the go-ahead on the Maroon carpet...with red dash lights and red racing harnesses it should all go really nice together.

Did you come upwith that idea all by yourself?

You can go to lowes or Home depot or something like that and get pool deck carpet or some outdoor carpeting. It would only cost about $50-$75 Then buy a couple cans of spray adhesive. The hardest part is getting all the holes to trim right. I did this on my old civic with black pool deck carpeting and im planning on doing it with my current one. If I do it soon ill write up a DIY and take some pics for everyone.

 

I dont think that maroon and red would compliment each other very well.
