pop the dome light cover off. and pull out the bulb, and pop your LED bulb in.

EDIT: I have a feeling that is not the right size bulb. does the bulb size look like the one you have in there right now? take a picture of the dome light? at least for my 99 civic hx the dome light bulb was different that what you got and different from what my local auto parts store shows, and what sylvania bulb size chart showed. If this is the case with you then you can move this LED bulb you got into the trunk, because the trunk light uses this size bulb. if it works for you then thats good.

Looks just like the one I have in my dome light... 3022 bulb, works just fine. You might have to bend the bulb contact tabs on the actual dome light housing.

Ok ok now my old stock bulb wont shine anymore GRRR! It used to just fine all i did was take it out once and now it won't. Any reasons why. It is turned on with the door open and in the middle with no lighting. Maybe the bulb went bad when i took it out or something?

Does the fillament look like it burnt apart? If yes it is the bulb. If the bulb looks fine, whip out your multimeter and get to checkin the contacts.
