an si motor? whats the difference. vtec? if so..i plan on putting in a fairly new rebuilt 1.6 vtec motor as soon as my motor dies.

 

Well, there are MANY differences between your motor, and a SI motor out of an 08 SI. I wouldn't even know where to start. Well, you have a d16 non-vtec, a 92-95 SI had a d16z6 (vtec, and probably the motor you are referring to when you say a rebuilt 1.6 vtec motor), 99-00 SI = b16a2, and 02-current = some type of k20.

Now you can go to wikipedia.com, armed with some knowledge, and start taking steps to becoming a Honda motor know-it-all!

i have a megan full exhaust, megan header, test pipe.. the whole 9 yards.. mine is very deep.. not that annoying high "rice" sound
