haha. that is very true...honda engines do last along time.

but the motor i was talking about is the same as your build. the z6. what kind of stuff are you putting in the motor.

im doin a complete rebuild. tearing it down to the nubby nubs and goin from there.
eagle rods and pistons
New cam
pretty much new internals
and turbo

lots of work..but in the end will be well worth it. im just going to keep mines stock.

well my motor sort of died....i lost compression in one of the cylinders. what might that mean? but i figured this was a good time to upgrade to the 1.6 vtec i was mentioning above. in order to do the swap, i just need the 1.6 computer and 1.6 wiring harness..and everything else will bolt up,click in. correct?

it kind of sucks because i just painted the valve cover...but then it doesnt because im upgrading to a better engine!!

well... you also need the motor (hopefully should go without saying). I don't think you need the full wiring harness, you just need to wire vtec in.

lol... it took you what??? 3 hours to paint the valve cover and 2 1/2 of those hours were probably waiting and hanging out for the paint to dry/cure. j/k... just paint the new one you get!

hey...i dont know about your time...but mines is precious...haha.yea thats what i am going to do. but i got a harness and computer that im going to trade for my brothers vtec harness and computer. that way i dont have to do any cutting splicing things.

ok...so i just fixed my broken valve. so now i put on that sweet looking valve cover. and kind of cleaned up the bay. here are the pics......

lol.thanks..im very proud of myself also...i just want to drive with no hood on just to show off my valve cover...lol..next i want to change the rubber hoses on the sri from red to maybe blue to match the wires or black. dont know yet.
