^ i have read this whole topic and fyi if come off like a dick to members that have been here long before you. Honestly the rims are rice and the tails are rice. You can't do a front end swap yourself? It's easy. Go before show. You just gonna do a short ram and an exhaust and call it quits because it will give the car the sound your looking for. and ya i have all the tools i need to do it. but this guy is gettin me hella good deal on parts, so i thought id pay him 300 to install it.

my rims? $200? hahahaha, right, i think you're looking a some plastic stuff. i just dont see how you can spend 3k on appearence stuff off ebay. personally if i had 3 grand i would buy a different car(because it "seems" your generation civic has the least aftermarket suport) and the d17(correct me if i'm wrong i think you have it) isn't the best engine out there. personally, i'd boost, or swap with 3k, leave the rest for later. and trust me i know about this, i did almost the same thing, i have halo headlights. thats it, cuz i snapped to my senses and just started saveing for better things. i don't think any one is TRUELY haten on your civic in particular. maybe its likea anger/jealousy thing. i think if most the people on here had 3 k to play with, they would nt be worrying about paint, headlights, or taillights, thats all. i know i'm angry to see 3k be spent on stuff liek that. i think thats what everyon else is, so don't take too much offence. yoju're on this forum for guidence, and help, if you don't liek what you get, go find a diff forum. or learn to cope with us.

ya trust me id love to boost or swap, but my front end is killing me... i have to change it. and really im getting it done for a good price. ya 450 on headlights is a little deep and prolly dumb, caus i know i like stock, but i dont want to look like another stock civic driving down the road. and that is the best way to say HEY im not stock. i have f*ing steelies right now... its murder to the look of my car. i was going to go black chrome lip... but everyone and their g-ma has that shizer. so i found something else i liked.

if i have moneys left over, i may ask for advise on performance in the performance thread section keep a follow up and help my @$$ out.

ill do a price check real quick and see what kind of money ill have left. 5mins .... ok 300 parts 300 install 800 paint 300 headlights. <--- all rounded up for safe measure. and i have spent 156 on tails, and 930 on rims+tires total out 2700 <----- roughly. i am not competely sure on paint so i just put a good amount.

thats why i think they are cheap, but i am not sure if yours are name brand... all that crap... but they LOOK like these cheap wheels. (to me)
