the only reason i want the conversion is for the headlights, not the "omg its almost a lip bumper!!"... fyi.
ive got the fenders already btw, so im making progress on that part.

im going to buy a lip to throw on my original bumper... so i can LOOK like i got a body kit without spending as much money.

How were you planning on using K-pro on a D17? The only thing you can do is use a piggy back unit.

Your tune price is accurate.

A turbo kit can be pieced together for way less money than that. You just have to know what you're doing.
You should never get a turbo installed or install one if you don't know what you're doing anyway. That includes getting someone else to install it. If you don't know what you're doing, then you won't know how to tell when there's a problem, you won't notice if you get boost spike and you might blow up your engine.

Basically, you don't just need to know how it all works just to install it, you need to know how it works to use and maintain it.


Rice means any one or combination of the following:

1. Tacky appearance - things that look out of place on the car:
-Altezza taillights
-Rims that are way too big and sometimes even the wrong offset, making the wheels stick out of the fenders
-Lamborghini doors
-Loud, big tipped muffler (this relates to the attitude... wanting loud for attention)
-Excessive chrome, especially parts that aren't chrome on the car in stock form.
-Bright and/or neon colors
-Windshield washer nozzle LEDs
-Racing Stripes
-Graphics
-Windshield banners
-Stickers of brands of parts you don't even own
-Badging the car as something it's not. (i.e. "Type R" or "Si" emblems on non-Type R's or non-Si's)
-Hood scoops and roof scoops
-Body kits that do not flow (most of them do not flow)
-Body kits that do flow but are too busy
-Metal spoilers
-Spoilers that do not flow with the car
-Spoilers that are too tall

2. Attitude:
-Acting like you're a badass.
-Excessive street racing.
-Revving the engine a lot and/or at anything.
-Wanting excessive attention for your car. Essentially, "turning heads" in the wrong way.
-Caring only about appearance but putting on a facade that you care about performance.
-Knowing nothing about your car and then acting like you do.
-Acting like you care about quality parts and then buying all the cheap stuff.
-Excessive use of the term "B16," especially acting as if it is made of solid platinum
