New Tail lights
i bought a civic cause they have a wide range of upgrades... D U H ! ! !
i didnt think i would have to tell an experienced honda person that... but i guess i did anyway.
i guess if your lip kit does nothing but makes it look better... why is it not RICEY? because the unwritten rules says its not?
where would i get the VHT nightshades? is it like a sticker tint? or spray? more info plz.
so i made a post about my tail lights.... im going to get headlights i think as well... should i make a new thread or just keep going on this one with the info on em?

keep it on this trhead and its a spray that you will most likely have to get online as they didnt sell it locally in my town... you can get a can off ebay
Ebay lights are good. I have some and i love them
BUT!! If you're going for projector headlights or HIDs make sure they are compatible with HIDs
Mine are projectors but they specifically say not to put HIDs in them
Dude chill out. I offered my opinion. He can take it or leave, and seems he's interested in it.
I, Scott Bodette, THINK that those lights would look really nice with a light tint on them.
I love my tail lights!!
Before and after shots

It wasn't quite dry when i took the pic if you noticed......It's up to you
Especially how dark you want to go. I got VHT at a place called Yearwood Performance.....that's the only place that carries the stuff in ABQ. But you can definitely get it off ebay or online stores.

you guys need to lay off the lights. he's not doing anything over-the-top, there black taillights for **** sakes. and maybe he wants to make his car look nice so he can impress females, instead of going for motor first so he can still drive speed limit in his DD and impress a bunch of guys at the track.
Dont take me wrong, I have major plans to make my car go fast, but the motor/turbo setup I have planned will happen AFTER my car looks sexxed. leather seats/taillights/anything visually doesnt add hp, but the ladies love a nice looking car, so let him do what he wants and stop hating.
Do your thing brother, if you like it thats all that counts.

Yes, exactly. Lip kits aren't ricey, because the unwritten rules say so. Also, lip kits are simple; they make the front end look clean and not too busy like most body kits do.
Look real hard for some black housing headlights that aren't projectors... I've had really bad experiences with projectors.
First, I had a cheap set off eBay. They didn't light the road up well at all, no matter how high I adjusted them. I had Sylvania Silverstar bulbs in them.
Then, I bought Anzo headlights for around $220. They also sucked. This time, visibility was better but they would not align the beams the same. One night I was adjusting them and the adjusting parts inside of the housing broke.
For these reasons, I recommend reflector headlights.
Also, make sure you get the headlights that match your front end conversion. 04-05 I suppose that would be.

Superfly: None of the headlights they sell for our Civics are HID compatible. They may say they are, but it's eBay and on eBay motors, sellers will write anything in their listings as long as it means profit.

Just buy on eBay. You got ripped off once... it's not likely to happen again. I've made 40 purchases on eBay since last July and i've never been ripped off.
Making an account is free.
Honestly, buying on eBay is just as safe as buying from an online store, in terms of getting ripped off. Just pay with PayPal, and you'll get your money back if you end up having a problem.
You can put HIDs in those headlights or any of them. It's illegal though... you get a little more glare than with the proper headlights. I have 8000k HIDs illegally in my headlights and I have them adjusted well and I have never gotten lights flashed at me or harrassed by a cop about them.
Just don't be stupid:
1. Properly aim the headlights. Be extra careful not to adjust them too high.
2. Get a color that doesn't stick out too much to cops... get 8000k or below. Closest to white is probably 5000k.
