Well, when you're trying to sell a car you usually want to keep stock bumpers and such because it's more difficult to sell a car with a massive wing and crazy after market bumpers. On the same note, wouldn't debadging lower resale value? Or is it too minor for anyone to really care?

but debaging is nothing...... most people probably wouldnt know!

plus thiers realy not much badges on the civic.LOL
worst badge id say is the front grill.... but with a OEM SI grill... that deletes the H logo

and the rear center H is pined on so ya cant shave it without welding and paint... i want to just paint mine black and snap it back on.
and with the rim size...... thats all you..... how much is performance over style for you?
me i like style
F/I = forced induction (supercharger or turbocharger)
and that plan you have sounds good man, but a 2" drop and 17" looks the best IMO
and i dont think debadging will lower the value THAT much

Yeah on first thought I was planning to get at least 16" rims..
Live_4it says this will cost extra since I'll have to alter my car, but will this put me above the $1k estimate?

well i dont think it will have to modify your car to fit 16s........ i ran 17s in my civic stock suspension tho.... BUT with the right tire size and offset of the rim it shoul dbe fine!
I was going to go 16" myself but numerous guys said that you would have to adjust the springs or what not so that the tire doesn't rub when you turn and stuff.
But if your going to be getting that type of thing done which it sounds like, it'll prolly work.

16" shouldn't rub as long as you maintain outer diameter of the wheel tire combo
lowering 1.5-2" looks best, 3" tucks a lot
definitely loose the tails and find some 99-00 OEM taillights to fit your car (they're red on top, all clear on the bottom)
lip kits always look nice, and you could try to find the OEM styled fog lights as well

I guess if you got the cash thats no prob lol
If your thinking going big with rims get ready to dish out a lot of moula especially if your going to get nice rims and raceing style tires.
Not too many people mentioned the amount of cash lowering your car, lip kit, and nice bigrims would cost you. Your talkinglike$2,500-3,500 dollars once it's all said and done. This isn't going to be done in one weekend, unless you got some serious cash and know some guys. If you do some ofthis project yourself, and know some connections you might be able to shave off some.
Thats def not including F/I that was mentioned, and if you do that you run a risk of blowing your engine. Nitrous is also hard on an engine. Of course if you put $5,000 into tuneing your car the chance of your engine blowing isn't as great. But now we're talking like $10,000 buckaroos....
