I bought some OEM foglights for my 2003 LX Sedan. Problem is I have no earthly idea where they mount to. I've seen them mounted on other Civics on the lower grille. But I don't see anywhere they can be put on. Anyone know if I have to remove or modify anything for them to fit. I would think since they are OEM they would mount right on.

 

I'm pretty sure that you'd need the mounting brackets for the stock fog lights as well.

 

It came with what you need to mount them but where it is supposed to mount I do not see anywhere to thread in the screws to secure them.

 

The bumpers off the cars that came with the fogs may have holes for the lights that yours may not have... so the original mounting place may be behind a solid part of the bumper on your car. You may have to make your own mounting brackets for them. I'm not too sure the differences between the bumpers with or w/o fogs. I know thats how it was on my intrepid and celica.

 

You can mount the fog lights on the bumper grill. Those are just plastic. Just get a saw and cut it off. You can just mount it thru the bumper. You dont necessarily have to take off the bumper either. Then you can run the wires behind the bumper so it isnt seen.
