i think 15s look really good on lowered hatches, so i'd go with the 15s if you are planning on lowering. plus they'll give you better acceleration than anything bigger. if you're not lowering it i'd go with 16s. unless you're going for performance only, then it's 15s or bust.

LOL. that's basically what happened to me. I was spending money on my civic, and then I wanted to get a manual civic with the d16z6 unlike my old d15b7 civic. so i was looking for a 92-95 civic EX coupe, and I saw a Del Sol and knew that I had to have. best thing I ever did car-wise. It was ALOT of work though swapping all the parts i bought from my civic to the del sol. I sold the civic for about $300 more than i bought the del sol. the $300 covered all the things that were wrong with the del sol. some gaskets, window seals, some TLC, and some other maintenance things.

alright. the engine and drivetrain is basically the same as a civic. Don't get the "S" model Del Sol because it is the non-vtec model (D15B7 93-95, D16Y7 96-97). The "Si" has the same engine as the Civic EX of the same year (93-95 D16Z6, 96-97 D16Y8), and the "VTEC" model has a B16 DOHC engine. Make sure you get at least the Si, and preferably the VTEC. The VTEC model is pretty hard to come by though. Watch out for leaky roof/window seals (93 and 94 have a bad seal design that was recalled. the 95-97 models have the better seal on them - if you order replacement seals, you will recieve the newer version and they'll fit regardless of the year), watch out for leaky trunk, and watch out for rattling targa top. The seal problems and roof rattling can usually be cured with some silicone spray or silicone grease and a good cleaning of the seals. you can also try cleaning the trunk lid water path (it might have leaves in it)
