Default Painted dash

So I just picked up a 1990 civic dx hatch, and who ever had it painted the WHOLE interior electric blue and white.
Now I'd leave it but the paint job is HORRIBLE!!
I need some tips on what to use to get it off, I'm currently using some paint stripper and it's not working oh so great.

Sand it down. Fiber glass that baby and start all over. Or find new interior pieces at a junk yard. good luck!

I had the same thing. I ended up replacing almost every piece that was painted. I tried using acetone and it just ate the plastic underneath and it turned out a gray/white mixture. Best thing to do is replace it with stuff from a junkyard. I tried almost everything, I powerwashed most of the paint off(because he used regular spray paint on vinyl), and it still looked like chit, so Ifinallydecided to stop dicking with it and buy new stuff from a junkyard. Trust me... don't waste your time.

Thanks for the help you guys.
As for the paint stripper, it wasn't doing so well so I went in and bought some flat black and flat white paint. So I guess I'm going to repaint everything.(fun fun.) I'll get some pictures up on what it looks like and how the peices I just sprayed look.
