painted interior? dash kit

when I get my car... I wanna know which I should do> paint or a dash kit... the only good dash kits are expensive.. but with paint, I'm afraid of makin it look cheesy... can you all show my some pics of your interiors if they've got painted parts? any suggestions?

p.s. why isn't there an interior forum? I guess this one is supposed to cover it, right?

those are all a little overboard for me.. I think I am gonna keep it much more simple than that... I am thinkin of blacking out the whole interior... anyone got pictures of one like that? I dunno yet...

there is a pic what i did with my civic...very simple..clean..just painted the accents,there a darker blue, just the sun was hitting it...

This definately adds a custom/ personal touch to your machine-let me know if you want any help/ advice, as long as its not gawdy/ overdone, and done RIGHT it is a really really nice touch. Drop a line!

Im looking to give mine a little personal touch. what materials would I need to get my interrior to look like mill$civic or Chimera? Type of paint? do I sand? sorry this is all new to me. thanks for any help.
