You can also take off your bumper and remove that one piece and paint it........but that will take more time.

I saw that on 7thgencivic once, and they thought that i was actually made by Mugen at one point. Never seen it for sale, but it may very well be a genuine Mugen part, rather then painted.

Sweet idea though, I think that would be a really nice subtle change.

Thanks for that one, aryiman! What grit sandpaper is best to use? I am first going to try it myself and when I screw it up Windcalmer, you'll be hearing from me!

What grit sandpaper is best to use?
i just rough it up a little bit with around 300 grit or so.

And then for type of paint... I would need a professional tool (air brush) or would a spray can still turn out smooth?

i would use dupli color auto spray paint and 800 -1000 grit sand paper

that works too, i dont usually go that high into detail on the sanding though unless i want a "perfect" look to it, lol. too much of a pain for me

Make sure you put a couple of layers of clear coat too after the paint, or else it wont shine.
