Clear coat, check! Look for my work coming soon..... next question, do you recommend doing this with the piece actually off the car or on the car? And how do you get the H symbol off, just pry it off?

I would take it off just to make sure you dont get any paint on anything else, and there should be 2 pins behind the "H" after you take it off

It would actually be easier to just take it off. That way you wont have to worry about oversparay to your car paint.
