Don't get me wrong... it looks good for what it is... you and your friend did an awesome job... just not the design I would go with... that's a good idea, though... not finishing it... so that you have some trunk space.

He hears that all the time!

lookin good Moog. Did you ever have the sub set up in a normal box? If so, how does the sound compare with it facing normal compared to how it is now, firing upwards?
It was in a box set from car toys... it was the same amount of loud, but it used to make my hair tingle and now it shakes my lower back and butt.. when my trunk is open the sound carries alot farther now...

do u have a cap running with that set up iu have back there?
What is a cap? what does it do?

A cap is a big capacitor that stores up energy and releases it... so that when the bass hits, it hits harder, and doesn't drag down your electrical system (on a system with BIG Wattage... and no Cap, the lights flicker when the bass hits) It's supposed to save your amp AND electrical system... I've never bought one (too expensive for my blood) but, they're a must if you have lots of power.

Oh mine isnt that loud... it is enough to shake your toosh but you really cant hear it outside the car... how much are caps? If I did I would just stick it underneath the box if it could fit... there is plenty of room to store stuff now..

Yeah that's my beautiful face at the bottom.... how much is a capacitor? Does it just plug in between amp and sub? If anyone could look at what I have tell me if a cap would be able to up my subwoofers power?
